What’s this? Who’s Nell?

Nell James is an 18-year-old multi-instrumentalist/composer, web designer, artist and unschooler. She grew up bicoastal, living in San Francisco, CA and Long Island, NY (where she now permanently resides).
She was once paid a disproportionate sum of money to design a logo of a cartoon elephant for a British financier’s vacation home in Southeast Asia (ahh, the Internet). This money was used to purchase her treasured Gibson ES-137. Generally speaking, Nell is more interested by most old things than most new things (although she is very grateful for digital technology, thanks). |
